1. AGRICULTURAL LAND

Vast agricultural land, with and area of 27, 141 hectares for rice, corn and commercial crop    production. Also found in the area are raw materials for handicraft industry.

2. PROVINCIAL INDUSTRIAL AND ECONOMIC ZONE

Identified by the provincial government as the Provincial Industrial and Special Economic Zone through Sangguniang Panlalawigan Ordinance No. 599, series of 2000.

3. RELATIVELY PLAIN TERRAIN

Approved and Identified by the Air Transportation Office and the Provincial Government as the site of the North Cotabato Rural Airport.

4. WATER RESOURCES

Two (2) big rivers (M'lang and Malasila Rivers) are tapped as source of water for irrigation purposes, as well as supply the sand gravel industry for the town.

5. GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Although the town is some distance from the commercial centers of the Region, the existence of newly-improved and revitalized asphalt roads connecting to adjacent municipalities may invite the construction and presence of big commercial centers in the near future.

6. POTENTIAL MANPOWER

Of the total population of 80,968 in 2007, 23,205 males and 21, 960 females comprise 55.78% of the total labor force.

7. DEVELOPMENT ORIENTED LEADERS / ADMINISTRATORS

The Presence of a great number of professionals and development- oriented type of leadership can spell out the  progress for the area when great minds in the populace work hand -in hand for its future growth.

8. TELECOMMUNICATION HUB

The existence of eleven (11) telecommunications towers of various telecommunications companies; a landline by a PLDT franchise holder; and a Cable televevision network, makes the municipality accessible to global communication system.

 9. RURAL AREA ACCESSIBILITY

The presence of good and accessible road network throughout the municipality makes the delivery of basic services easy at any time of the day whole year round.
